About Tres Chiles LLC is a family run catering company originating in East Los Angeles. Headed by Christopher Daniel Tapia, son Jacob Daniel and daugher Noelani Bree. Their food primarily draws from Mexican, Tejano, and Alta California gastronomical traditions. Much of Tapia's cooking is inspired by his mother, Ana Rosa, who immigrated to Los Angeles from Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico at an early age. Tres Chiles evolving menu is an exploration of both Tapia's upbringing and his love of culinary traditions. Equipped with a 700-pound Santa Maria Grill, two Traeger smokers, and a fully integrated flat-grill and flame broiler, team Tres Chiles offers an experience in barbacoa, smoked meat tacos, and other delicacies like tri-tip, brisket, ribs, handmade sausages, and much more. As a war veteran. Tapia advocates for fellow Marines, Military veterans, and Spanish speaking communities in underserved areas of Los Angeles and beyond. His desire and hope is to utilize his brand to create social impact within and among such communities. In doing so, the Tres Chiles team has begun to work with likeminded local brands, businesses, and organizations such as La Gloria Tortillas, Agua Lucha, Kernel of Truth Organics, El Choriman, and El Machete Handkrafted Chili Sauces.
